Our Mum, Noreen, passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2010 after a very short illness, only 6 weeks from diagnosis to her passing. Shortly after she passed away, we, her four sons, did some fundraising for the Irish Cancer Society and now 10 years on we feel it's time to go again! We want to try raise some funds for all the people affected by cancer everyday.
The four of us have zero cycling pedigree to date so the 100km from Carrigaline to Baltimore will present a considerable challenge. To add to that, we're going to do it in 3 weeks time...Friday 27th March. This is a significant date as it is Daffodil Day for the Irish Cancer Society and it is also Mum’s birthday.
We are asking for your support to give what you can – no contribution is too small. All the funds raised will go to the Irish Cancer Society.
