"Brother Soy" - The Play - by Victor Vauban Junior

The ‘BSou Repertory Theater Company’ (by Victor Vauban Junior) is raising money in order to perform the full length version of the acclaimed play, "Brother Soy" in New York City as an Off-Off production. There will be 12 performances in Manhattan and consequently the Bronx. The themes of the play revolves around: motherhood, family, brotherhood, the negative effects of divorce, transgenderism, the expectations society demands for its classes. We need to raise 3,500.00 by December 30th, 2019, in order to cover costs that ensue in the pre-costs and expenses with the post-production. We are counting on your generosity and love for the arts. SYNOPSIS: Spanish Harlem 1980's. Two preteen brothers are separated after their parents’ divorce. The older brother is taken by his father to live in South America, where his father dies fighting in the Civil War. The brothers lose contact. Twenty-two years later, the older brother, now a religious man, finds the means to return to America and reconnect with his long-lost family. To his disrepair, his mother is dead and his once beloved brother is not the person he was expect to meet. The man does not understand the new America and finds himself in another war trying to revive the relationship with his once beloved brother.
