International Space Competition Hosted at NASA

Hello and thank you for visiting our  GoFundMe page.

Help us get to the International Space Settlement Competition in Florida.

The International Space Settlement Competition is an annual competition sponsored by the National Space Society.  The competition is for high school students and simulates the experience of working on an aerospace company's proposal team. The teams, known as 'companies', are asked to design a space colony to fulfill a Request for Proposal.

We are a group of high school students from Brownsville, Texas who competed and placed 1st at the National Space Settlement Competition this past April.  We have been selected to form part of the team that will represent the United States at the International Competition. The International Competition will be held at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida in July.

Being selected to Team USA is a great honor and represents a once in a lifetime opportunity for us.  We will be working side by side with engineers from NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab and companies such as Boeing, Raytheon, and Lockheed Martin.

We humbly ask for donations to help make this experience a reality. Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
Adrian Jasso, Xavier Gonzalez, Clarissa Montiel, Halil Hamscho
