Support Michelle in her battle with Cancer

Hi, I created this page for my very good friend Michelle who is battling stage 4 breast cancer. Michelle, her husband Renante, and their 10 year old daughter Samantha have been living in Ireland for 14 years now. Originally from the Philippines, they moved to Ireland in 2006 to search for a better future for their two children Dacoy who was 7 of age and Shane was 5. At present, they are both studying college in the Philippines. Michelle works as a childminder and have been working with elder people too. She is a kind natured woman, caring, and has helped many people.
In August 2015, 5 years ago, Michelle found out she has malignant breast cancer. An active tumour on her right breast. It was devastating news for her, her family, and people close to her. In 2016, Michelle started her first course of chemotherapy followed by an operation then radiotherapy. Due to the certain type of cancer she has, In 2017, the Doctor did further tests and scans. Michelle was told by her Doctor that her breast cancer had relapsed and it had spread on her left breast. She was diagnosed with stage 4. This is the most serious and life threatening stage of breast cancer because therapy options cannot remove all the tumours. Despite of all the sad news and she had been though, Michelle faces her fears with a smile on her face. The strength and determination she have been showing to survive and recover is never like I've seen before. Her fighting spirit is incredible and she still keeps fighting until now.
June 2019, Michelle along with her husband and daughter Samantha visited the Philippines to be reunited with their son Dacoy and daughter Shane for 14 years they haven't seen each other. It was Samantha's first time meeting her older brother and sister. It was indeed a very happy moment for Michelle's family after all the hardship she has been through.
In July 23,2020, Michelle undergo operation on her left breast because the tumour kept growing and the Doctors advice was to do Mastectomy. Because of her condition, she was in and out of the hospital. They had done further test and later found out that she has tumour on her brain so the Doctor advice was to do radiotherapy again. October 07,2020, Michelle was rushed to the hospital due to numbness of her body and she couldn't move her legs. Michelle has reoccurring numbness of her body and legs. The Doctors and Medical team have done some tests and MRI scan. They told Michelle that the tumour has spread to her spine. At this stage, Michelle feels like her world is falling apart but she is very determined to fight her condition to see her two children again who are in the Philippines and she is hoping to spend time with them as much as she can.
As a result of Michelle's condition and treatments, she is no longer in a position to work. It has put financial strain on her husband Renante as they try to meet heir day to day expenses and at the same time supporting their two children in the Philippines. Michelle's greatest wish is for her children to be beside her during these difficult times and see them again. She is an amazing friend, a loving wife, and a great mother. Let's help her fight cancer and pray for her healing.
I made this gofundme cause to help support my friend Michelle and her family on her treatment and their daily expenses. Also to help with funding Michelle's two children to come to Ireland and be reunited with her. This would be a huge help for Michelle and her family, the last thing we want is for her to be worrying about her finances. So we would greatly appreciate your help and support for Michelle and her family. Every little helps. No amount is too big or too small. We are very thankful. Thank you for your time. Godbless.
