A few days ago we noticed he was not around, and then on Tuesday we found him like this, desperately trying to drink some dirty water. We rushed him to the emergency vet where we learned he had bilateral fractures under his eyes and the roof of his mouth was also fractured. He couldn’t breathe through his nose or eat, so a temporary feeding tube had to be placed.
Max had to be hospitalized and is still there now when we are recording this, on November 18th. He will require CT scans and surgeries to repair his fractures and will likely need to stay on the feeding tube until those heal.
This gorgeous boy has endured such pain, terror and agony and we want nothing more than to help him heal, and be safe and loved for the rest of his days. We want him to be able to give us these loving head butts and know the simple joy of rolling around on his back again.
Please. Help us help Max - we can’t do it without you.
Lincoln Terrace Park Cats is partnering with Greenpoint cats to help support Max. Your tax-deductible donations will go directly to Max's care.
