The children do the witches walk every year and they love it. We really don't want to miss out on the excitement of the day. It was also a great fundraising day for the school, raising over 4000 euro each year.
This year is a challenging year in many ways. It is already a very expensive one with extra money needed for PPE, cleaning and hygiene materials. We also don't have the benefit of running traditional fund raising events or have after-school activities to rely on.
We would ask you to please support the children as they walk (socially distanced ) in their costumes around Kildare Town. They would usually be going to Aunties, Uncles, Grandparents and neighbours for sponsorship so perhaps you can send them the link via email, facebook, Whatsapp or whatever else you use. We know that these are difficult times but every small amount counts!
We are raising money for playground markings and sports equipment this year. We are unable to share equipment between classes so we need more of it to go round our 439 children! Please help and give what you can...
